Joe Jamail: $1.7 billion

Though he passed away at the age of 90 in December 2015, Joe Jamail makes this list because he had been the wealthiest practicing attorney in the United States at the time of his death. He's represented over 30 members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is about pretty much every record of premier entertainment attorneys on earth. On a side note, he serves as the co-executor of Michael Jackson's estate.

Richard Scruggs: $1.7 billion

Thomas Mesereau: $25 million
